Welcome!
This is my second year of GITA. Last year we learned how to code in visual studios, this year I am focusing on HTML/CSS and starting to code everything from scratch. In the future, I want to pursue college either in Cornell, or overseas in Europe. I want a stable job in computer science/game development as it would allow me to be as creative as I want and give me a slightly more flexible schedule that would allow me to dedicate some time to my hobbies and side projects. I took AP Euro in my 10th grade of highschool, as well as taking an extra World exam. This year (11th) I'm taking AP Precalc, Ap Comp sci., Ap Lang, and Ap physics. I am planning to do some community at local animal shelters and food drives with my club. I am also currently vice president of a math club which goes into competitions and offers tutoring for students. The GITA program is a career pathway that establishes a basis of knowledge for computer science. It teaches how to work on different platforms to hone in a versatility in code.
